Today I feel connected to Source in ways more powerful than ever before. I feel it in the love of a friend, a giggle from my girl, the warm sun against the bright blue sky.
Why does the sun shine brighter today? The answer is this: I am taking care of myself first. Period. Not in an aggravated, I’ve been pushed to my limits kind of way, but clearly making the decision to, knowing that I am as valuable in the eyes of God as all who are here on this planet.
Today, I am a great mom – all because I took care of me.
